Serpentine Super Damper

The patented ATI Super Damper is the only damper designed exclusively for high performance Ford engines.

Inner and outer shells are available in aluminium or steel, and contain a steel inertia weight. This inertia weight has six (2-ring design) or eight (3-ring design) computer machined grooves to retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application). ATI Super Damper Serpentine Series harmonic balancers are patented and feature grooves for serpentine belts machined into the outer damper shell. The dampers come with six outer grooves for standard OEM drive systems—but eight and ten grooves are available for supercharger or turbo applications. Serpentine dampers are offered in a variety of diameters, and crank hubs may be fitted with a 6-groove serpentine pulley to drive external oil pumps or vehicle accessories.
